Job Description

We are a busy Optometric office looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a full time position approximately 30 to 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate must be friendly, customer service oriented, self-motivated and able to multi-task. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as are strong organizational and computer skills. Bilingual English/French is an asset.
Duties include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, pre-testing, billings to OHIP and patients, as well as other administrative and organizational tasks.
Experience in optometric or medical office administration is preferred, however training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years front desk or customer service experience who is committed to providing excellent care and service to our patients. Starting salary is $17/hour depending on relevant work experience.
